Belleville Thanksgiving Proposal

Stephen + Rachel

Stephen came to me to see if I could support him in documenting a very special moment in his life. He was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Rachel, and (hopefully) keep the whole thing a surprise.

The plan was to meet up in Belleville at the Frink Centre, where they’d be stopping in for a walk down memory lane with their pup, Duke. This spot was the location of their first hike together! The rain added a bit of stress that day but cleared completely, just in time for the big moment. Take a look below to see what happened next!

I followed the boardwalk snapping photos of the surrounding landscapes while I waited for Stephen and Rachel to get to the lookout. Once he bent down on one knee, I broke my cover and snuck closer for some photos. She said yes! And Duke was on his best behaviour, although a bit peeved that I forgot to bring him some treats. Next time, buddy!
