01. My Story

I am deeply in love with creating authentic, nostalgic imagery that is so much more than just a snapshot. I value organic and natural flow in my sessions, and strive to provide a positive and comfortable experience for anyone who steps in front of my lens. Together, we will use my craft to tell your unique story – and you’ll be left with a collection of memories to treasure for decades.

For those who want to dig a little deeper… I’m also a mother, a forever dog-lover and a coffee addict. I love spending time outdoors and exploring new places with my husband. I have a passion for learning (read: obsessing over) new things and a creative brain that is full of endless curiosity, constantly on the hunt for the next challenge.

You’re humans, you’re in love, and you want (need) some tangible memories of this special time in your life. Whether it’s all-dolled-up editorial style or in your comfy-cozies on the couch, I’ll be there to document your connection and devotion to one another. I’ll direct you and your partner with prompts to get things moving and to remove the awkward “wait, what do I do with my…” moments, but ultimately, what I’m here to capture is YOU and the authentic moments you share. I won’t ask you to tilt your chin 2 inches higher or curl your hand a certain way, but I will ask if you want to jump in the water, take your shoes off in the sand, or give your partner a kiss.

Kay is just amazing! She makes sure you feel really comfortable which makes it super easy to pose. We had a great time shooting with her. She has some really great ideas for the location and poses. She makes sure to capture the right moment and I can’t tell you how beautiful her edits are. Definitely recommend her as your photographer.

If you’re like me, you’ve been snapping photos on your iPhone as much as you can remember to, but also want to cultivate some special family memories outside of your own walls. I’ll ask you to share some deets about your loved ones and I’ll come prepared to interact with all the main characters of your life. My goal is to make everyone comfortable, have fun, and to bottle up some of life’s most meaningful-yet-fleeting moments for you to look back on. Oh, and please bring the dog.
